During Leanne Allison and Karsten Heuer’s Finding Farley canoe trip from Canmore to Hudson Bay, they discovered a canoeing utopia in northern Saskatchewan: warm water, nice granite outcrops for camping, superb fishing, and sections of fun and challenging whitewater with good portaging and walking options for kids. And the bugs were rarely bad!
